Every great taste has a beginning. Ours started three years ago at a local exhibition where we first crossed paths with a remarkable couple — Meghana Kumbar and her husband, Dhananjay Kumbar.

Living in the village of Mahuli in the Satara district, they were running a small venture called Divynka Cookies. Dhananjay wasn't an ordinary baker; he was a seasoned chef who had spent almost 10 years working in commercial kitchens across Goa. But the call of his roots was stronger. He decided to leave the commercial hotel industry behind, return to his village, and build something meaningful by himself.

When we first met them, their cookies were delicious, but they were using refined white sugar. We saw their incredible potential and their deep passion for baking. Right there, we proposed a challenge: "Why not leave sugar behind and bake with traditional Indian millets and pure jaggery?"
