Description

100% Pure Wood-Pressed Almond Oil (Cold-Pressed / Lakdi Ghani)

Made from a single ingredient: pure, high-quality almonds.

Unlike conventional refined almond oils that undergo high-heat processing (reaching 200°C–250°C) and chemical bleaching, our oil is extracted using traditional slow wooden churns (lakdi ghani). This zero-heat extraction keeps the oil at room temperature, preserving the natural character, aroma, and composition of the almond.

  • Single Ingredient: 100% pure almond oil, nothing else added.
  • Cold-Extracted by Wood Churn: Zero heat spikes, no chemical solvents, and zero preservatives.
  • True Density & Aroma: The rich viscosity, natural golden hue, and subtle nutty aroma reflect an unrefined, unbleached oil in its raw form.
  • Multi-Purpose: Suitable for skin nourishment, hair conditioning, and daily wellness routines.

Roots in Satara: How We Partnered with Vandan Agro for Pure Wood-Pressed Oils

A few years ago, when personal health challenges demanded a return to pure, unadulterated food, our partner at Vandan Agro saw the real gap in everyday cooking oils. Modern, highly processed oils lacked the nourishment traditional food once provided. After spending five years working closely in the oil industry and understanding the machinery and processing methods, he chose a different path—reviving the traditional wooden press (lakdi ghani).

He set up his extraction unit right here in Satara district, just a short distance from our warehouse.

His setup does more than press oil. By establishing the unit in the village, he created direct, steady employment for local villagers, supporting rural livelihoods while bringing back the slow, traditional practices he grew up with. Every batch—from premium-grade almond to groundnut, sunflower, mustard, and coconut—is crushed using heavy wooden pestles at ambient room temperatures.

When we at Past in Present Agro first saw his uncompromising focus on raw seed quality and clean extraction, partnering was an obvious choice.

Over the years, this shared commitment has reached homes across India. That consistency shows in the trust of our community: batch after batch, year after year, delivered without compromise.

Everything You Need To Know

Q.What makes Past In Present Agro Wood-Pressed Almond Oil different from refined market oils?
A.Most commercial almond oils undergo high-heat extraction (200°C–250°C) and chemical bleaching that deplete natural nutrients. Past In Present Agro almond oil is cold-extracted using traditional wooden churns (lakdi ghani). The low-friction wooden press maintains room temperature throughout, keeping the natural Vitamin E, antioxidants, and healthy fatty acids completely intact.
