Everything You Need To Know

Q.Who manufactures these festive treats for Past In Present Agro?
A.They are made in Satara, Maharashtra, under the leadership of home-cook turned entrepreneur Asha Jadhav Tai of Asha Foods. Her collective provides steady, dignified employment to over 15 to 20 local rural women who prepare traditional recipes with zero chemical shortcuts.
Q.Is refined white sugar or maida (refined wheat flour) used in this combo?
A.No. All sweets are naturally sweetened using unrefined Khandsari sugar. We replace refined maida with ancient, low-glycemic Khapli (emmer) wheat flour, Lokwan rava, native Jowar, Ragi, and wholesome legume flours.
Q.How long will the faral stay fresh and crisp during the festival season?
A.Unopened packs remain fresh for up to 3 months from packaging. Once opened, transferring the contents into clean, dry airtight glass jars or steel containers will keep them crisp and delicious for 3 to 4 weeks
Q.Are these faral items fried in palm oil or hydrogenated fats (vanaspati)?
A.No. All savory items and fried sweets in this hamper are prepared exclusively using Past In Present Agro pure wood-pressed groundnut oil and pure ghee. We strictly avoid palm oil, cottonseed oil, and refined fats.
