• SOURCE - Our kokum rinds grow in the wild in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra. Traditionally, organic kokum rinds are dried with salt or a preservative, however, we have convinced our farmers to give us a pure kokum, making it 100% free of additives and not subjected to any chemicals.
• SUN-DRIED & Marinated - The kokum rinds are sun-dried and Marinated in Kokum Agal for 6 Months, not subjected to any boiling or other processing/preserving methods. They are 100% pure and retain all their nutrients. 1kg of kokum rinds, produces 50g of hygienically solar-dried kokum rinds.
• NATURAL - 100% Natural and Free of artificial colouring, our kokum rinds are dipped in fresh agal. The ingredients are simple, dried organic kokum dipped in fresh agal. These rinds are dark in colour and when added in your cooking impart a sweet/sour taste.
• HEALTH BENEFITS - Kokum rinds are a powerhouse of nutrients, making it a Superfood! It is useful to ease acidity and improve digestion. It gives a cooling effect on the body. It can elevate your mood and aid with weight loss.
• HOW TO USE - Use it as a substitute to tamarind to add a tangy flavour to your basic food. Soak organic kokum in water to consume as kokum tea. Cook with tadka and coconut milk to make the famous konkan beverage 'sol kadi'. You can even add the kokum wet, in curry and dal recipes as a herb and can even be used in desserts.

1. Generally, it takes 5 - 7 business days for the deliveries to happen across India, but in rare cases, transit time is longer due to courier loads, local conditions, festive holidays, natural calamities, rain and a variety of other factors.
